Sun and Ice Fog

It's another freezing day hear. This is the frost that was on my bedroom window when I woke up this morning.

Light through yonder window breaks!
The sun shining through the Ice Fog this morning.

These cold temperatures make for some of the most beautiful light.

Anchorage Alaska

Hello to all my friends out there. I know that I have been very neglectful of my bolg, I hope you haven't given up on me. I have decided to make a weekly commitment to updating my blog, so stay tuned on Sundays for my weekly entry. If something exciting happens in between I may even be inspired to do an extra entry. For now I have some catching up to do so will post some stuff from the last few months. Below is a trip I took in October for work to Anchorage Alaska. I had the cool experience of flying on a small six seater plain along the Alaska coast line. Wow it was beautiful! To see the snow capped mountains and glaciers meeting the Ocean. Hear are some highlights.

Leaving the small town of Skagway. Whitehorse is a 2 hour drive across the mountain pass behind Skagway.

Beautiful snowy mountains and clouds.

The Mendinhall glacier behind Juneau as seen from above.

More snowy mountains. Below is a mail box that looks like R2D2.
